COURSE OVERVIEW: what will be taught in this course?
In sha Allah, students will study two core modules in this course.
Tarjumah and Tafsīr: The translation and commentary of the entire Qur’an, especially focusing on the aspects that affect our day-to-day affairs.
Uloom al Qur’an: Introduction to Qur’anic Sciences, the sources and methodology of Qur’anic Interpretation, the transmission, form, language, and style of the Qur’anic text, to enlist a few.
There will also be optional short courses, workshops, and electives that students can take or skip suiting their convenience during the course of studies.
COURSE COMMENCEMENT: JUMMAH, JULY 30, 2021 | 9 PM, PAKISTAN TIME إن شاء الله
Both forms are same. We have just created a form in Romanised Urdu for those students who can understand Urdu Language but not necessarily read the script such as our many students from India or students who were originally from Pakistan but settled abroad.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: who is qualified enough to do this course?
– Female, Muslim students who can identify Arabic alphabets
– Fluency in reading Qur’an is not required
– Ability to understand basic English in order to make use of online learning management tools*
– A computer with reasonable internet speed or a smart phone that supports applications like Google Sheets, Google Docs, Drive, Zoom, et cetera
– Students with a serious attitude towards studying Deen.
We have a strict policy of not giving admissions again to those students who leave a course without finishing it.
– Students at least 15 years old
Girls under the age of 14/15 are required to have their mother’s supervision during classes

Course Duration: 12 months to complete the entire Qur’an, in sha Allah
Language of Instruction: Urdu
Cost of the Course: Free
Medium of Conduction: Online via Zoom
Number of Semesters: 2 (July to December, January to June)
Schedule: 3 days a week
– Wednesdays: 4 to 5 PM (Uloom al Qur’an)
– Thursdays: 4 to 5:30 PM (Tafsīr)
– Fridays: 9 to 10:30 PM (Tafsīr)
all timings as per Pakistan Standard Time
Please also note: There will be assessments after every few lectures and there will be end of semester exams as well. Students who maintain an 80% attendance in the course and appear for assessments and exams will be awarded a certificate from Fatimah Academy. Recordings are also provided but they are not a replacement of live classes. Hence they will only be shared with those students who have valid and genuine reasons to not attend live class.
*If a student is not well versed in English, we try our best to provide Urdu instructions, guidance, and aid.
