The form is provided solely in Urdu as it’s a good start to gauge your ability to read and understand Urdu as much of the content of the course is provided in the same language. If a student is facing difficulty in filling the form, it essentially means they are not well equipped to do the course.

– Tuesdays & Fridays: Lecture recording will pe shared @ 7:00 AM, Pakistan Time

Please also note: There will be assessments every week and end of course exam too. Students who maintain an 90% attendance in the course and appear for assessments and exams will be awarded a certificate from Fatimah Academy.

Ustadha’s Profile:
A dedicated mother of four (Allahumma barik lahum), Ustadha Umm Mustafa holds a BSc in Biotechnology, MA in Islamic Studies, and Darse Nizami certification (2023). Specializing in women’s fiqh, she brings expertise from diplomas in Tajweed, Hadith, and Fiqh, advanced Qur’anic commentary training under Dar ul Uloom Karachi scholars, and ijazah in classical texts like Sahih al-Bukhari. With five years of teaching Seerah, Tajweed, Qur’an, and Fiqh, she also serves as a core administrator at Fatimah Academy, merging academic depth with compassionate Islamic mentorship.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: who is qualified enough to do this course?
– Female, Muslim students who can understand Urdu
– Ability to understand basic English in order to make use of online learning management tools*
– A computer with reasonable internet speed or a smart phone that supports applications like Google Forms, Google Docs, Drive, YouTube, Chrome, PDF viewers et cetera
– Students with a serious attitude towards studying Deen
– We have a strict policy of not giving admissions again to those students who leave a course without finishing it
– Students at least 15 years old
– Girls under the age of 14/15 are required to have their mother’s supervision during classes

Q: Is there an age limit for this course?
A: No. Women of all ages who experience menstruation can join.
Q: How are the lectures structured?
A: Lectures are 4-5 minutes long and only address difficult topics. Study the slides first, then watch videos to deepen understanding.
Q: What if I don’t understand something in the slides?
A: Post questions in the Discussion Forum! The team will respond weekly after consulting Ustadha.
Q: What if I don’t understand how to use tools like Google Classroom/Canvas, Google Drive or Zoom?
A: Don’t worry! Our team will guide you step by step. Just contact us for help.
Q: Are the slides downloadable?
A: Yes! But sharing of any material or commercial use is prohibited.
Q: Is there live interaction?
A: No live sessions, but the forum allows direct communication with instructors and peers.
Q: How much time do I need weekly?
A: 1-1.5 hours: 30/45 mins for slides reading, 10/12 mins for lectures recordings’, and 15 mins for quizzes/forum.
Q: What if I don’t know Urdu very well?
A: The course is taught in Urdu. Unfortunately, if you can not read or understand Urdu very well, you will not be able to participate in this course.
Q: How do I get the certificate?
A: You must complete at least 90% of the lectures, quizzes, and the final assessment to receive your certificate.
Q: Can I watch the lectures again after the course ends?
A: Yes! Enrolled students will have indefinite time access to all videos and course materials.
Q: Can I share the course videos or materials with others?
A: No. The materials are exclusively for enrolled students. Sharing them is strictly prohibited and violates the Islamic ethical principle of trust (amānah).

Q: Is there a fee for this course?
A: No. This course is completely free and is offered as a service to the Muslim community.
Q: I am pregnant or going through menopause. Is this course still relevant for me?
A: Yes! The course covers nifās (postpartum bleeding), irregular bleeding, and how Islamic rulings apply during pregnancy or menopause.
Q: I’ve already studied these rulings before. Should I still join?
A: Definitely! This course is a great way to revise and refresh your knowledge. You may also learn new points or correct any misunderstandings.
Q: Will there be live classes?
A: No, all classes are pre-recorded so you can watch them at your own pace.
Q: What if I miss a class one week?
A: You can catch up anytime during the course. Just make sure to watch the missed lecture and complete the quiz before the course ends.
